Unable to install Adobe Flash player on Mac



We will not be able to find the flash plugin for this OSX Tiger 10.4.11 in Adobe website itself,





Fix:
1.     Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop,
2.     Unzip it,
3.     Replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your Macintosh-HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library).
4.     Restart the browser and the videos should play online.

No Networks found on Mac




1.      From the Airport Setup Assistant menu, choose Quit Airport Setup Assistant.
2.      From the Apple menu, select System Preferences.
3.      Click on the Network icon.
4.      In the Show: field, make sure that Airport is selected.
5.      In the By default, join: field, select A Specific Network.
6.      Type Wellesley, or nostrings in the Network: field.
7.      Click Apply Now
8.      Close the Network window and proceed to step 5
9.      You should now be able to use a web browser, e-mail or any other application that requires a network connection

1.      You may want to turn off your wireless connection temporarily when you're using your wired connection, in order to install certain software, or in case your computer becomes infected with a virus. To temporarily disable your wireless connection: 
2.      Click on the signal strength indicator in the upper right corner of your screen and select Turn Airport Off from the menu. 
3.      To turn wireless back on, click on the signal strength indicator in the upper right corner of your screen and select Turn Airport On from the menu. 
4.      Click Apply Now. 
5.      The airport signal on the top right corner of your window should now show connectivity and you should be able to use a web browser, e-mail or any other application that requires a network connection. 

How to reset the iPhone passcode



  1. If you forgot your iPhone passcode you can bypass the lock screen completely and reset the passcode by using Iphone recovery mode
  2. Warning: This will require you to restore your iPhone or iPod touch, this means you’ll lose all data on the device and be back to factory settings.
  3. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, leave the other end connected to your Mac/PC
  4. Launch iTunes
  5. Press and hold the Home and Power button on the top of the iPhone to turn off the device
  6. Press and continue to hold the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iPhone, this will cause the iPhone to turn on
  7. Continue to hold the Home button until an alert message in iTunes appears that an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected
  8. Now that the iPhone is in recovery mode, you must restore the device:
  9. From iTunes, look under the “Summary” tab
  10. Click on the “Restore” button within iTunes
  11. This will wipe all files, settings, and apps from the iPhone, including the passcode. When the restore is finished, the iPhone will be at the factory settings. At this point you can choose to start from scratch or to restore the iPhone from a backup.

How to remove FBI virus



Able to connect to SMWN

 

1.     Boot into Safe Mode with Networking
2.     Checked start up in MSconfig and look for an suspicious program running, if found disable it from   start up ( IF you have experience in ’Autoruns’ you can use the tool to find the suspicious start up programs)
3.      Run Malwarebytes scan and remove the infection
4.      Before rebooting to normal mode, create a new test account with administrator access so in case there is any issue after reboot you can use the test account to login
5.      Now reboot the computer and you should be able boot into normal mode

Unable to boot in SMWN


1.       Go to safe mode with command prompt
2.       Type the below command to create a new temp user
          Net user temp /add
          Net localgroup administrators temp /add

3.       Reboot into SMWN
4.       log into "Temp" account
5.       Run a Malwarebytes full scan
